Their budding "Romeo & Juliet" romance is what drives The Fault in Our Stars, a title derived from a quote in Shakespeare's Julius Caesar. Together Woodley and Elgort are just wonderful, delivering very real and tender performances with a chemistry that lights up the screen. Woodley plays opposite Ansel Elgort, or Caleb from Divergent, whose charming down-to-earth performance will undoubtedly make him a strong contender going forward. While not entirely convinced she was right for the part at first, her audition was powerful enough to leave the author John Green and director Josh Boone in tears. so passionate that she wrote a number of heartfelt letters urging the film-makers to cast her.
